Oh Nine

Ain’t this strange, 09/09/09 :), just wanted to say hello for everyone and started to think about 10/10/10. It has been almost 4 days since CAT Iftar II – which was a cool gathering -, when I started to think about events I wish to attend when a list appeared in my mind.

• CAT Iftar III, and I wasn’t in Egypt, I would do my best to be here for such great day.
• CAT Scope 103, because I started with CAT Scope 3.

On WordPress.tv

Just if you didn’t notice, this might happen if you don’t check WordPress.tv; my session “Write your first WordPress Plugin” has been added to WordPress.tv. It’s really nice to be the first to be added in this category from Egypt. I hope we can contribute there more if we can, and I know we do as long as we are web developers.

WordCamp Egypt’s Schedule

Yesterday, we have announced WordCamp Egypt’s Schedule. It has been a very long time deciding and discussing sessions, and how it will serve the audience on the big day. We have been thinking a lot about which levels our audience might be, and we have been trying our best to present sessions from extreme beginners to highly advanced developers/designers and bloggers.

WordCamp Egypt and WordCamp.org

Al-7amdolelah, yesterday we were announced formaly on WordCamp.org. The website of the event is now up and running, I was amazed of how much people visited the whole website till this hour, they are close to 200+, I wonder how much will they be by the end of the day.

WordCamp Egypt, We got the Hall

Al-7amdolelah, yesterday we announced that we got the hall and confirmed the date, it will be in Conferences’ Hall, Al-Hawwar Club, Al-Mashaya Al-Sofleya, Al-Mansurah, Al-Dakahlia, Egypt. It will be held in-sha2-Allah on 28th of this month.

I mailed Maya, and soon it will be announced on WordCamp’s Official Website. There is a possibility to have a guest from Automattic, but I will not announce the name now . Al-7amdolelah, the event is spreading enourmously, we have 177+ confirmed guest on Facebook, 85 Maybes and 1500+ invited guests.
