Although it’s just 10 days or less, but I miss being there. I miss Mandour, Bassem, Aboul So3od, Mo3taz and especially Ahmed Salah and much more… Talking, laughing, joking and thinking without even knowing each other before. I learned a lot, I have to admit, not from just attending a session but from relations I have created there. I hope we stay in contact in the future.

The last day, one of the most inetersting training days, we started with Business Writing, and the guy was OUTSTANDING. He is from England I think, he knows exactly the content needs to be delievered and how to professionally do the job. I can give him 15 of 10 for this GREAT session. Then came Pizza Station, Fedex and Axon ’s General Manager in Egypt, a 25 or something years old Architectural Engineer who has 4 companies in that las 4 year. A proven example on Entrpreneaurship, I was really ineterested listening to him asking him how could he do that in just 4 years. He is a good example for young business men in Egypt and I hope one day I can do something like that. The day ended with MIE Competion next steps and milestones’ session by Mr.Tamer Darweesh the MIE Chariman. We have a deadline on next November 28th, Rabena ma3ana and please pray for us. Then came the closing session, which contained some funny stuff, like the movie in which all people are asleep in Dr.Safa’s Session :D, some poems from talented MIE competitors, and Certificates for the teams won on the Ethics competion held on the first day.

The Summer Training, an event I’m really happy to attend, and really proud that I joined the whole competion from the begining. I wish we can pass it to the end and reach the final 5 with the great milestones which we will have to pass in-sha2-Allah.

More and more I enjoy it, learn a lot and really I’m lucky I got this training. I didn’t attend the fourth day, for my bad luck, I heard that they had a really great session about Negotiation Skills and another one about PDD (Product Design and Development) and the feedback mentioned was really awesome about both. I think my team mates will do great presenting both to us. Fifth day was an intorduction to Market and Marketing Research, and WOW, is that what is really done?! I’m really amazed of all these steps to just start your own business life cycle - This should be completed in another way in the Entrpreneaurship Session in the last day -.

The next day, we completed what was started the day before, the presenter is a scientist in his field really, we had a lot of VERY useful information. How to search for a good idea to be implemented in you field of interest and how to do a market research for this idea. How to convince a sponsor and how to push him to sponsor you, it was really outstanding. This thing that was really EXTRAORDINARY is to have Mr.Safa Moustafa, the presenter of the sescond session on this day. We have met him on the first day in a session about People types and how to deal with everyone of them, but this time it was about 6 hats of thinking and how to organize, decide which hats to use and to wear ;). The session had a lot of messages inside. Can’t talk about Dr.Safa himself, he is great, I hope we can host him in one Scope of the CAT organized ones. He will really make us all think different about everything, even he will just come to have a conversation without a specific session topic. Briefly, it was the best session in the training!

Then comes today, the 7th day in the training, “Sponsored or not to be Sponsored”, an interesting name of the first session, a confident presenter from MIE, he is the founder of the idea and he came today to share us his experience and give us more tips in such topic. It somehow contained some stuff from the Marketing Research Session, but the interesting part is to how face to face start a conversation with the man of charge in the sponsor’s company. How to introduce youself, your idea, your team and the competion itself. One may ask, what’s the difference between the “Marketing Research Session” and this one; the first one introduced how the sponsor think, and how you should consider his market while talking to him, beside the whole Marketing Research topic, but this second was all about how to initiate a conversation with a sponsor, “talk” to the sponsor and deal with him through your idea’s marketing.

We still have two more days to end this training, and start the “searching for the sponsor” milestone, mainly if we couldn’t get a sponsor, we won’t be able to complete the whole competion so it’s really a great challenge. Pray for us.
