I came online to see the solutions of the mid-term exams of tomorrow’s subject “Introduction to Database”. I know it won’t affect tomorrow to see them or not, Dr.Hesham’s exams are unpredictable :), but I love them. I feel like I’m just going to write a letter for my professor tomorrow, not solving an exam.

This is not the reason behind this post actually,the actual reason is that I had a lot of negative feelings inside, starting with my AnGel’s illness, which actually made my day miserable. Gaza’s current situation and what is being said about us “Egypt”, the Arabs’ situation stuff that really makes me wanna SCREAM, just saying NO! a peacful NO!.. I’m also worried somehow of tomorrow’s exam, due to being very calm till now, and feeling that it will be good although this is not so true I dunnu why.

The thing that really made me somehow a bit cheerful, is when I found Mahmoud Metwally (metoo) remembering me on his blog with his great words. I really had a feeling that I have never felt before. I wanted to thank him this way, and tell him that whatever I have did, it’s just nothing, it was just me, trying to show them the way.

In my last status report, I mentioned that my grandpa was transferred to the ICU, it was really hard days, but less harder than these ones, My GrandPa has passed away a week before last week, اللهم إرحمه و أوسع مدخله..

I have studied nothing till now, since the first day in this semester, I’m really worried, as usual.

We got our graduation project idea accepted, Al-7amdolelah, we should start reading, which actually should have been started 2 months ago, but we will start now, late? Mostly, we are out of MIE, we had no sponsor interested in our project, and those who were instsrested had no time to prepare the budget plan and who the project deal will be done. I admit we all got benifit from the experience, so I encourage all 3rd year students to think about joining MIE next year, it really helps guys.

I miss old days, when your friends were actually your friends, we hardly get connected nowadays, I know nothing about kamasheto, psycho, may be Biko and Same7 are those I know about him, but not so much too.

I will be travelling to our village tonight, it’s the first feast without our grandpa, and we have to be there.

I printed a cover for my laptop, it looks great masha2 Allah, I designed it in gray RGB, but it came in blue due to the CMYK plotter, here are some photos:

Do you really love her? Is it love or it’s just nostalgia? Can you go away, or will you stay?!

Have you ever asked yourself if you really love this country or not? I always mentioned that I will one of those who will change the destiny of this country, one of those who will make something new, something all of us can be proud of. It’s Egypt I’m talking about, feelling disappointed again, a word from someone who I thought he is a freind, who I thought and believed in his support that really makes me think thousand times of what we want to do and what we can do.

You might have heard this before, but try to read it:

I should be asleep now, but I can’t go to sleep in this mood, I just feel that I wanna stay awake till I get it; the idea that will change the world around. Recently, I have been disappointed because my graduation project idea. I have discovered that in Egypt, you are forced to go back and never to think forward; to make your country better and to highly affect the community I belong to, the IT community just because you are Egyptian. For a week or more till now, I have been searching, and trying to analysis even a pin in a chair to find something that can be really the one I’m looking for. All these technologies and nothing can be found, I believe that there plenty, millions ummm..endless ideas, but they are all implemented before, or will not help us in Egypt or have some restrictions here..in EGYPT!

I should be registering our project in the college this week or so, and I have a dead line next Freiday in MIE to send a sponsorship request to some suggested companies but with no idea nothing of this can be done. Disappointed, feeling really, I have been to the field for almost 8 years, and I can find nothing, this is really disappointing.

I started on a new way today, I have emailed some companies with our situation and our team’s wish to make something effective and high valuable and I will have to wait for their replies. Another way i will start working on is to travel to Cairo to have some meetings with some companies after a market research we have done about them.

May Allah Help Us!

Although it’s just 10 days or less, but I miss being there. I miss Mandour, Bassem, Aboul So3od, Mo3taz and especially Ahmed Salah and much more… Talking, laughing, joking and thinking without even knowing each other before. I learned a lot, I have to admit, not from just attending a session but from relations I have created there. I hope we stay in contact in the future.

The last day, one of the most inetersting training days, we started with Business Writing, and the guy was OUTSTANDING. He is from England I think, he knows exactly the content needs to be delievered and how to professionally do the job. I can give him 15 of 10 for this GREAT session. Then came Pizza Station, Fedex and Axon ’s General Manager in Egypt, a 25 or something years old Architectural Engineer who has 4 companies in that las 4 year. A proven example on Entrpreneaurship, I was really ineterested listening to him asking him how could he do that in just 4 years. He is a good example for young business men in Egypt and I hope one day I can do something like that. The day ended with MIE Competion next steps and milestones’ session by Mr.Tamer Darweesh the MIE Chariman. We have a deadline on next November 28^th, Rabena ma3ana and please pray for us. Then came the closing session, which contained some funny stuff, like the movie in which all people are asleep in Dr.Safa’s Session :D, some poems from talented MIE competitors, and Certificates for the teams won on the Ethics competion held on the first day.

The Summer Training, an event I’m really happy to attend, and really proud that I joined the whole competion from the begining. I wish we can pass it to the end and reach the final 5 with the great milestones which we will have to pass in-sha2-Allah.
