4 weeks or later, I contacted Maya Desai that we want to organize our very own WordCamp here in Egypt, and that depiak is interested  in doing so. And that we want anyone from Automattic can be our guest, especially if Matt can show-up. She totally accepted the idea, but the only thing that didn’t work properly is that no one in Automattic is free to show-up in the event. She sent us a WordPress Schwag Set, with colorful Pins, Red, Blue, white and Black Stickers and some WordPress pencils which are not available at the WordPress shop.

Now, we are still in the organization state, we need sponsors as much as we can. It’s a Multi-National Event, and it will really be great for a company to join. If you are a developer, designer or even a company who is looking for any of those, I can assure you that this event is for you. Also if you want to collaborate with a session in the same event, please let us know, sessions should be exclusively WordPress and till now we have almost 4 sessions, the schedule will be announced soon, so you should hurry up.

I will be adding news every now and then, keep checking the blog and depiak’s website. I should mention that this event is the first of its kind in all CAT History .
