Just before I go..

A day in my life, I will always remember – actually they are a lot, especially when it comes to the next subject -  is when I had a phone call from AlSayed Gamal, on a Thursday, where a lecture to the mighty Dr.3abed Nasr had place and I didn’t attend because it was a rest day, but by chance AlSayed was there. The call was all about a teacher, who came to the lecture, introducing an old team, called CAT and that she wants to relaunch. The teacher was Eng.Mahy Osman, which I really miss a lot, and I really should thank her for her efforts with the team, till now when she has time to share us. The whole idea was to create a team especialized in IT (Information Technology), which at this time, the term was strange to me, and I remember Psycho defining it “Bos, 3aref lama betsearch fi Google 3ala soora enta 3ayezha w tela2eha, howa dah 7aga shabaho keda, ennak bete3raf testa5dem el PC wel Internet w keda” or something like that. I said “WOW!” that’s me, I was an amateaur then, I was always chatting on mIRC and I was using some scirpts to hack others’ emails, thinking that this includes me in the world’s hackers list. I thought that MS Office is just like MS Windows, both are OSs .

I got exceited, and I knew we will be having an interview meeting with Eng.Mahy soon, I was smiling all the meeting time, wondering, what are the stuff that she is talking about? USB? what is that? Then the team started to complete, with no particular order from Abdel Rahman, me, AlSayed Gamal, Ahmed Bakr, Ahmed Nassar, Ahmed Soliman, Ahmed Abdalla, Hassanien Mohamed Hassanien, Eng.Ahmed Abbas, Amr Salah, Ahmed Abul Haz, Yara Omar, Hatim AlSum, Hatim Mohamed, Mohamed AlZalabany, Ehab Abdel Rahman and Bahaa Beih. The team was said to be called “Smart” and initials to a sentence that I don’t actually remember, but we finally reached “CATReloaded” which was called for short CAT as the old CAT founded by Eng.Hesham AlSawy and other who I don’t know most of them, but I remember Eng.Mohamed Ezzat.

We started to work, hard and I mean really hard, meetings day after another, and I also remember our first meeting with Eng.Hesham AlSawy, in Origin-IBM an authorized training center in Mansoura. When I volunteered to write the names of all the teams and their contacts, to send it to Eng.Hesham, but I forgot to attach the file , being considered as one of those who always uses the internet and his life is almost online. Then we started with our first event, CAT Scope 3 – 1 and 2 was held in the era of the old CAT -, me, psycho and biko had the registeration disk responsibility, like young guys now who help us in our scopes and days – sometimes I love to be at the regiteration disk, it reminds me of “our” old CAT.

This is just an introduction, to my next topic(s), just to describe what I feel now towards CAT and what I have always dreamt of for the mighty team; CATReloaded.
