Today was our last exam this semester, it was about “Internetworking”, the exam was AWESOME! I really loved it especially the first question. Once I read it, I cared about nothing may come in the rest of the questions :D. I should be having almost 1 month to a month and a half as a vacation. It’s really full of stuff to be done, and should be done. From different perspectives, technically, socially and for the future this vacation should be a life changing one, it’s the last chance just before graduation and should be efficiently used.
Technically, I should be finishing JAVA, the standard edition at least. Without stopping my work, so both will run in parallel. We have some work to do in the GP, actually a lot of work and stuff to be checked, where will we but the components and how the system will look like.
depiak, we have really prepared for a lot of sessions, although I will have no great participation because of my university military service and I will be travelling to Cairo for the rest of the vacation just after I’m done with this military thing, but generally I will do my best with the great foundation this vacation isA. Ahmed Soliman intends to resume the Algorithms course, so if I had the chance to complete it – or I didn’t have it -, I should be reading the book he told us about, I know this will really be great for my future career, so this should be considered in mind.
I think about starting with python, I have never read, or started with it, and I have heard that it’s very popular and important in some future job vacancies. So this adds another task this vacation to the technical side.
I should be working more and more on my soft skills, a lot of books really need to be read, starting with “The mind map book” by Tony Buzan, and to “Seven habits of highly effective people”. I also have to read more about memory and how we can get the best use of our brains, I’m loving reading about such stuff, since I started with the mind map book after MIE 2008 summer training. We can add to this “Fast Reading” as a topic to look for, I think it will help serving the other pre-mentioned stuff.
Some opened vacacies of work, here in Mansoura and Cairo are in my mind now, I will try messaging them for an internship vacancy during this vacation. I don’t rely on this, but I just have put it in mind too.
One more thing, that I will “try” to start a diet :D
, I know this might be somehow possible, but I can just balance the equation with going to the GYM with Biko
.
Wish me luck
PS: I forgot to add that I’m thinking about the “Begin” move, if you are interested message me :).

I was searching for a good python book, did you try this one? is it good?
No , this was Madkour’s suggestion
ask him
he love python
i’ve read and finished “Think Python”, it’s really good
but if you’re looking for more advanced one, you can read “Dive Into Python”, i tried it too but couldn’t finish reading it, but i really think that this is the book for you
think python is a great start then go for o’reilly
