Today, the Fedora project announced the tenth release of the mighty operating system Fedora: Fedora 10. I haven’t seen a code name for this distro, after the last Sulpher. It seems that redhat is hearing my problems and just trying to solve them, that really appeared in the Release Notes. I just got astonished when I read:
There is also the ability to turn-off the Bluetooth adapter on most brands of laptops through the preferences.
That was actually a problem in Fedora 8, the distro I’m still using, but I have solved it using Omnibook which fits my laptop hardware profile greatly. Also what’s really amazing that they announced that they have enhanced the startup process, better and faster. A lot of other features announced and accepted. Some screen shots can be found here.
I didn’t give it a try yet, I should be sure that it’s stable as I had bad feedback on Sulpher, so let’s wait and see.
