Begin, just a step..
The name “Begin” was really suggested by my sweet fiancee, Eman, as usual we were thinking in the same idea exactly in the same time, when she amazed me while telling what were going in her mind. The idea is to collect “REAL Engineers” who want to to do something for their country and to highly affect the global IT community, to be the next world changers and give honor to our country. A dream, I have been dreaming recently, to be one of those who can change the world, with an idea more than a contribution, but as long as I couldn’t find the idea till now, I should start with the contribution, I should take the step.
When we reach the real team who really has the motive and will never loose it whatever happens, we will start working on ourselves, learning stuff that we should have learnt but we couldn’t, algorithms, data structure, actual AI which we didn’t know what does it really mean while studying the same named subject in the college, operating systems and really a lot of technical stuff.
On the other way, we should add creative thinking, how you can generate creative ideas that really can help the world to be something better and how these ideas can be applied. How you can organize your ideas and effeciently memorize them with any other information you might gain. It’s a learning how to learn technique and hor you can efficiently apply these knowledge to your life.
The idea is supposed to be implemented as a CAT Foundation, led by me, it doesn’t seek projects, it’s more into your mind and how can we work on it. Workshops, courses and seminars, presented by the best in the field as much as we can, will be the activity we can start with now. Ideas will be considered, tremendous or tiny, it will be considered, a hundred of tiny ideas can be combined to a world changing one.
One of my friends, Ahmed Soliman, who is starting an activity to look for solutions to our country’s problems, so when the circumstances are better, we will be having a large agenda with stuff that needs to be changed and start working on implementing solutions, and may be the current circumstances consider the solutions we reach and implement them - although I know they might implement it in a miserable way, but at least it’s a try -. I think this activity is really close to what I’m dreaming of, it’s a start with our circumstances till we reach the world’s.
In the last 3 months, I have learned stuff that are considered more than what I have learnt in years, and one of these stuff is that there is no solution without a problem, and we will be looking for them, solve them and even make them better till we reach the level just before being perfect. والكمال لله وحده. And I also realized that it’s not being in Faculty of Engineering, - especially in Mansoura University - makes you an engineer, it’s your mind and your ability to change and invent what makes you an engineer; which is another reason for this activity to start.

I think that it’s a very good idea but you have to take into consideration is that you are going to be graduated soon isA, so can you work on that while you are a graduate?

This is the correct question.
You know that our Nation Problem is in our belief.
We think always that we can’t do it even we don’t try to do it actually.
Our problem is defeatism about everything around us.
We think that we can’t be an advanced country so we won’t be.
Sometimes when I withdrew from the world and start to thinking about our present, our college, our country.
I find that we didn’t do our best to achieve our dreams.
The problem isn’t from the college only.
We also a part from a problem.
The good step depends on ourselves.
I’m totally agree with you.
We need to “begin” from the moment to repair the wrong status.

@Ahmed Soliman: I really can do no promises, but that’s why I mentioned that all the participants should have the same motive, not to have the dead situation we always face when no one is there to manage, they should continue achieving the dream, not for anything sake but their lives.

Believe me there are some of them, I know they are not a lot but I know that they exist. And btw, I should state that they are need not to be having a high technical level, this is not what we seek, we seek: Creative Mental Level!

@Teva: Yes, that’s a reason, and it’s a fact, wana sa3at ba3mel keda “babe3 ya rayes” bas ba7awel 3ala ad ma2dar akoun gebt a5ry fi 7agat keteer. We should mention the bad circumstances around us. We also can say that the dreaming world changers are not a lot, as Ivan mentioned, and the wish you dream of is not shared by everyone around you, that’s why we are still looking for these dreamers who are willing to continue the learning process till they prove to the whole world with their ideas that they can do the change.

Do you know how did I reach this post?
I was googling about ” how can you change the world “..
But I found that Google can’t reply to this question.. But we have to find how to reply it.
Last year , I was launching a project in my grade , among my colleagues in comm. and electronics dept. called ” Real Learning ” ..
I announced the idea..and I really have found reliable people how co-operated with me .
My goal was to ” learn ” , to “See” and “Apply” not to fill your mind with some information , and suddenly you discover that they are dropped from your neurons one after the other !
We began by holding sessions in topics related to our study..
and these session was some kind successful, although of the few attendants..
and we came to the summer holiday.
at that time I needed more people to share me , but imagine what did I find?
I found absolutely nothing!
People want to take , take , take , and not to give anything!
and the comments were
“انتم بتترسموا علينا”
“هو كل واحديقرا كلمتين يطلع يعملى سيمنار”
“السيشنز اللى بتتعمل دى ملهاش لازمة”
“يعنى هو انتوا اللى هتغيروا البلد؟”

Although every thing I promised them to do , was really done .I didn’t lie to them.
I know that “Professionals” and “Confident People” does not look to these worthless words , but when you see a “pol” , made originally to distort your reputation and your effort , so it really hurts!
So , for a period I was really going to cancel the whole idea , but I wasn’t able to do such a thing .
I feel that I need to learn people , and I felt that this project is a part of my life , If I blow it down , so my life is going to be blown also.
The big problem is “People want to take , not to give”
” People don’t feel the crisis which we are facing”
“People are disappointing creatures”

and at last , differently from all replys , I really don’t know if I’m the “Engineer” who can change this country or not.. this is not for my weak capabilities , but I don’t know whether I’m an ” Engineer ” or “something like that”!
