An Idea, that can change the world

For almost a month or more, I have been thinking to myself, do you have the idea that can change the WORLD? question that is really interesting and I’m trying to find an answer to. Have you ever asked yourself a question like this one? Have you ever thought of the characteristics of such idea?! How it might affect, you and the one beside and the on one sitting reading this post from China?!

I was really confused, how could Tim do it and when Linus stood and objected. Both of them are living with us nowadays, electronically. Another two started at a garage and now they almost know everything about the whole WWW. Were they thinking like I’m doing now?! or it’s just a spark that came to their minds?

A friend of mine once told me, you won’t be able to invent a new technology, but you should make use of what have been invented till now. Do you agree on this?! or Do you think you can make it from scratch and start that new invention that can change the world.

Disappointed when I knew it should contain a piece of hardware to work on while I’m creating my graduation project, but I do believe that a piece of software can do much more than the robot that it’s controlling. The small village that we are living in canbe extended to Mars, and become somehow a big country, can we do it? Can you do it?

Although people might think I’m dreaming, but dream is the thing that created reality around us nowadays. The human was with no feet cover and now you can wear somekind of shoes that can make you fly. Even TV is now controlled by bluetooth remote controls. Homes and Houses are smart and automated. Mobile phones are everywhere and wireless lans are monitoring us from all around.

It might not be that fancy thing, a tiny idea that you might think of can be integrated with another tiny one and create the one that might enhance the fancy one. Do you have the idea that can change the world?!

    3alshan Imagine cup, ba3d mashoft el projects beta3t el sana ele fatet , ba2a feeya a need to do something better and try my best to get something that will really affect people around me.

    btw I find that most of so-called inventions are a compilations of old stuff (theories) put together to come up with new stuff, in IT can be like AJAX.

    Correction=”You shouldn’t bother yourself thinking in brand 100% new science; you should think in solutions to already existing problems around and ideas are sooo many simple every solutions is problem and you must now remember the TV example how inventing TV was a solution while problem on how to control it remotely and changing the quality appeared around; remote control, multichannel TVs, satellite receivers and small applications like zooming and small sized and rotated CRTs May be application for existing theories and science and they may be a direct applications, but for sure they are sign of creativity and that’s what I exactly think ..”

    @Gamal: Yeah, that’s you, the correction you mentioned is pretty close to what I have said, it’s almost the same..I even remember that day, when you told biko “Asl ana 3aref bingo beyfakar fi eh!, howa 3ayez ye3mel 7aga elli ma7adesh ablo 3amalha” :)

    ..and I have decided that I’m a software engineer, and I started planning to my career path regarding this one, but the college has forced us to do our projects related to the other one.

    I have some advices for you and biko before you proceed to this year, and during the way to it, regarding the summer training and internship and how to plan to your graduation project. We may do it in a CAT Session or something :)
