dkSystems v2

Mahmoud Sakr, – aka: kamasheto -, a gr8 friend, one who you may enjoy being with him, 3aleh effehaaaaat :D..Lately, he founded depiak, an authorized CAT Foundation. Depiak is a foundation that’s interested in web development and design, and although they are not visible all time, but I consider them one of the most active foundations in CAT. That’s because they are the first foundation that has created her own management system dkSystems.

dkSystems, now v1, which is available on their site, but not for download, it’s just for management the website content and users :)..but it has came a project that you may would like to have a look at. Kamasheto, started to build dkSystems v2, from scratch I think, just because he didn’t like the way his code look like in dkSystems v1, and really he has done a gr8 job!!..and the system is up and running on our localhosts, trying to tweak, develop and add more components to it.

Recently, I have started to learn php from scratch, and horray!!, I have found the project I may use my skills in :). I have started with the dkContact component, which is used to keep connection between the system users and admins. It’s a very simple component really, cause I admit that I’m not a php pro, I’m just doing my best :). It needed some tweaking to fit the system, using the internal functions which was built by kamasheto, like the input function, which takes any kind of input using any of POST/GET methods, checks it for most common vulnerabilities and inputs it wherever you want.
